Though that may have been an error that was later corrected I have a first run copy of Blue and I've heard tales of the missing track being on later runs, though I've never confirmed it myself. Suspense02.mp3 in bshift/media should be Suspense03.mp3, and I think I made a mistake on my conversion chart, as the real Suspense02.mp3 should be there (It's track 5 on the Op4 soundtrack), while Half-Life03.mp3 should be the six second clip of silence. Just did a quick check, HL and Op4 are fine, while Blue Shift has a few hiccups. I hope I don't just speak for myself when I say this. In short, thank you for being the sort of company that people feel OK about complaining to, because we know there's a chance you might say "You know what, you're right we should do that." I may be one of the complainers, but I'm not ungrateful. Who else but Valve would patch a game that's over ten years old just because someone asked them to? Heck, who else would have ported it to two new platforms in the first place? Fans of other games stop complaining because they've long since learned that they'd be wasting their breath. But the reason is, because of things like this. Whether it's over something they changed or over something they haven't changed. I know Valve gets yelled at a lot by players over things that, compared to the problems other games often have, seem like silly little nitpicks. I dug up an old text file explaining the conversion from tracks on the disc to filenames used by Half-Life I figured this might save you guys some time. ![]()
